Why does my gel feel sticky or wet after curing?Updated 8 days ago

Totally normal! Gel products are designed to feel slightly tacky after curing, this is called the inhibition layer, (also called the dispersion layer) and it helps each layer bond properly and last longer.

Gel Base Coat and Gel Polish will feel tacky after curing - this sticky layer helps the next layer adhere. Do not wipe it off before applying your next layer.

When does the stickiness go away? The tacky feeling disappears after curing Gel Top Coat! Once top coat is cured, your nails should feel smooth and set.

Tip: If your nails still feel tacky after curing the top coat, try wiping them with a lint-free cloth for a smooth finish.
