HEMA stands for Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate, an ingredient commonly used in gel nail products to help improve adhesion. Olive &amp; June Gel Polish is formulated without HEMA. Our Gel Polish is also 15-free, vegan, and cruelty-free. It&apos;s important to know that HEMA-free does not mean allergy-free. Gel nail products can contain other acrylic or acrylate ingredients that may trigger reactions in individuals with sensitivities or allergies. Our Gel Polish was formulated without HEMA (Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate), an adhesion promoter frequently used in gel nail polishes to help them last longer. We wanted a HEMA-free formula because this ingredient is a commonly known allergen and is responsible for triggering reactions in many users.

One of the challenges of developing our formula was finding a safe alternative to HEMA that would provide a healthy, long-lasting manicure. After years of testing we have created a HEMA-free, 15-free, cruelty-free and vegan formula that is the longest-lasting Gel polish on the market.
