Bumpy or lumpy builder application? Before curing, use the liner brush to smooth the surface of builder gel. If you've already cured and the surface is lumpy, smooth it using the buffer, or apply more builder gel and cure to fill in the gaps.

Experiencing chips at the tip with your builder gel mani? Be sure you're prepping your nails well before applying builder gel - avoid water for 1 hour prior to your mani and don't wash your hands mid-mani, since water is the enemy of a long-lasting mani. Gently push back and buff away dead cuticle and gently buff the surface of your nail. Cap the free edge of your nail to protect against chips.
